Puyallup Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has an MDS Assessment Nurse opportunity. We believe in the power of a nurse that has the time to spend with their patients. Time to critically think, time to assess, time to make positive change in their lives. This is a full-time Monday though Friday leadership team position.
We are looking for an MDS Nurse (RN or LPN) with post-acute assessment and case management experience. An applicant must have a current RN/LPN license, be able to pass a comprehensive background check, read and write English proficiently, and value excellent customer service to our residents and families. We’re looking for an MDS department leader who works collaboratively with their teammates and our providers as we bring outstanding care to our residents.

Qualified MDS Nurse candidates will possess the following skills:
Extensive knowledge of the MDS assessment
Knowledge of creating care plans and nursing assessments
Ability to work independently AND be a dedicated team player
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Great attendance and positive attitude
And most importantly, a passion to work with the elderly
