Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Assistant to join our team. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture relationships with current and future customers.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and help to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with customers by phone and email
• Be able to assess customers current and future needs.
• Maintain a working knowledge of Putsch’s products and services.
• Organize sold service trips.
• Complete administrative tasks such as processing and recording sales info, as well as creating quotations.
• Keep accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
• Provide input on process improvements.
• Other relevant tasks related to sales.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Associate’s degree or higher or 3 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Time management and prioritization skills are essential to this position
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Experience working with ERP systems such as Epicor and SAP.
• Other various skills and abilities needed to perform this job include team player attitude, excellent attention to detail, multi-tasking skills, and the ability to work with a sense of urgency.
