Pushkin's Bakery and Cafe in Roseville is a busy, fast paced bakery that is looking for a morning baker. The position is dynamic and you will be joining an incredible team! You'll be responsible for maintaining the standards of our delicious baked goods, decorating cupcakes, making bars from scratch, and enthusiastically assisting with service, cleaning and prep at times. The position also requires excellent teamwork and communication. We are a team that values communication and integrity and look for individuals who are committed to these values. Morning Position available - Part - Full Time (opportunities for cross training in different departments for more hours are available for the right candidate)
Baker
- Solid understand of baking and preparing baked goods, kitchen safety and sanitation standards.
- Solid understanding of how to follow recipes and direction.
- Great customer service: able to speak to customers and assist front of house staff with guest services at times.
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for decorating.
- Time management and time integrity: prioritizing tasks to increase productivity and consistently reporting to work on time and ready to fulfill the day's duties.
- Prep knowledge to support the morning operations.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Available to work weekends and holidays.
- A team approach to handling workload.
- Self-motivated.
- Prioritizes a clean and organized work environment.
- Works well under pressure.
- Communicative and well oriented with direct feedback.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: Starting at $16 per hour plus tips ($5-$7/ hour additional)
