Strategic HR Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support the organization’s objectives and growth plans.
Policy Development: Create, review, and update HR policies, handbooks, and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and to support best practices in HR management.
Talent Acquisition and Retention: Lead the recruitment and retention of a highly skilled workforce, with a special focus on clinical staff such as nurses and therapists, .
Performance and Compliance: Ensure the HR operations across all locations are in compliance with labor laws and regulations. Oversee the implementation of a new payroll system for our client, ensuring accuracy in pay rates and compliance with state-specific requirements.
Employee Relations and Engagement: Foster a positive, inclusive work environment where employees feel valued and engaged for our client. Address and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring a culture of fairness and respect.
Leadership and Development: Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the HR team, including local HR staff and HR personnel in various states, to build a strong, cohesive team for our client.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or relevant HR certification preferred (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR).
A minimum of 10 years HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the healthcare or homecare industry.
Extensive experience in developing HR policies, handbooks, and procedures.
Proven ability to oversee HR operations in a multi-site organization, with a strong emphasis on compliance and risk management.
Exceptional talent acquisition and management skills, particularly in hiring and retaining clinical staff.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring a diverse team and building strong relationships across the organization.
Willingness to travel to various locations as needed to support HR operations and team development on behalf of our client.
