PurposeCare and its affiliate companies seek a highly motivated Human Resources Regional Manager to join our growing Human Resources Team. This role will be a hybrid position with some office requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Manages team development by assessing site HR individual needs, identifying gaps, and planning appropriate steps to provide training for closing any gaps
  • Assists in the training of all new branch and agency staff as it relates to HR policy, process, and procedures to ensure all team members have the tools and training necessary to successfully perform in the role
  • Coordinates transition of newly acquired companies
  • Manages all HR-related activities, communications, document creation/edits
  • Handles all employee-related matters including but not limited to coaching, counseling, corrective action, termination, performance management and appraisal, job change, promotion, demotion, etc.) that are triaged by any member of the branch including Talent Acquisition Specialists (TAS) and Branch Office Coordinators (BOC)
  • Partners with PurposeCare Parent Human Resources leadership to implement the correct internal HR resources in support of the Operational business requirements for the agency (i.e. recruitment, benefits, training, and development)
  • Facilitates Company orientation and partners with TAS on onboarding all new Administrative/Operations/Clinical Staff (Non-HHA)
  • Provides resources, feedback, observations, and recommendations for opportunities for assigned staff within their region
  • Helps to identify strengths, capabilities, and development opportunities for all assigned staff
  • Ensures regional legal compliance by monitoring human resource federal and state requirements; conducts audits of employee records and survey materials
  • Ensures alignment of all policies and practices of the business units with the guidelines provided by the corporate Human Resources department
  • May oversee the ordering of office supplies, depending on the branch location
  • Brainstorm potential initiatives and engagement ideas with PurposeCare Parent Human Resources leadership to benefit the entire company
  • Drives process and efficiency improvement across all functions of the HR department
  • Partners with Finance and payroll on federal reporting and filings (i.e. EEO-1, OSHA, etc.)
  • Partners with the Benefits Administrator in managing leaves of absence, workers' compensation/injury management, and unemployment claims
  • Partners with the Talent Acquisition team on Talent Acquisition initiatives including requisition management, ad messaging, bonus programs, incentives, and offerings needed within their region

Qualifications and Personal Attributes

  • Significant HR management experience and knowledge of human resources systems
  • Ability to successfully maintain multi-site relationships and manage time and responsibilities effectively
  • Proven record of effectively resolving employee issues, improving processes, and increasing efficiency
  • Experience balancing site needs with corporate priorities
  • Experience in delivering corporate HR programs and initiatives, ensuring they are embraced by and become embedded within the business
  • Sound knowledge of technical HR systems, processes and procedures; experience working with ADP Workforce Now preferred
  • Sound knowledge of applicable labor and employment laws related to healthcare
  • Demonstrated analytical and process management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including strong business acumen
  • Experience managing others, with an emphasis on driving team performance
  • Outstanding team-building skills
  • Willingness to professionally challenge peers and senior management thinking
  • Excellent time management skills, including prioritizing and multitasking

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
  • PHR or SPHR preferred
  • Minimum of five years of human resource experience
  • Ability to travel 30 %of the time between branches
  • Multi-site facility experience preferred
