Purpose Plumbing is a small business in Charleston, SC. We are professional, agile, customer-centric and our goal is to hire a plumbers helper with the intention of training to be a full time plumber.

```Duties```
- Assist plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
- Measure, cut, and assemble pipes and fittings
- Assist in the installation of fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate measurements and pipe lengths
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear

- Basic knowledge of plumbing principles and practices
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
- Proficient in using plumbing tools and equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Maintenance Person skills for general repairs and maintenance tasks
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Good communication skills to follow instructions from plumbers
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy objects
Note: Prior experience as a plumber's helper or in a similar role is required. Training will be provided for candidates with the right aptitude and willingness to learn.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
