As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing sales of our supplemental insurance products to businesses and their employees. Your primary focus will be on generating new business by building relationships with potential clients and presenting our products in a compelling and informative manner.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential customers through cold calling, networking, and referrals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and exceptional customer service
- Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitors' offerings
- Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop effective sales strategies and initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system
Requirements:
- Proven track record in sales or a related field; 2 years experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills with ability to build rapport quickly
- Self-motivated and target-driven with a passion for achieving sales goals
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to work independently and without supervision
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
- Life and health producer license or ability to obtain (reimbursement for licensing)
