Job Summary: We are seeking a Drafting Technician, with openings available for trainees. This role is suited for individuals who are either experienced in or looking to start a career in drafting and design. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans using REVIT software, adhering to Florida building codes, and collaborating closely with our team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and revise engineering drawings and plans using REVIT and other design software.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes and regulations.
• Assist project teams from conceptual design through to construction.
• Attend project meetings and report on progress.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of design activities.
• Attend Site Visits and record pictures, videos and measurements

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in drafting, engineering technology, or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred for technician roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required for Trainee Positions, with a keen interest in civil engineering or architectural design.
• Proficiency in CAD software; knowledge of REVIT highly desired.
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a commitment to ongoing learning and development in the field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
