Purple Wave is Hiring a Sales Coordinator - Dallas, TX Near Dallas, TX

Purple Wave is seeking a dynamic Sales Coordinator to join our team and provide vital support to our Auction Management Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our company, serving as the linchpin between various departments, customers, and prospects. Your responsibilities will encompass maintaining our Company Dashboard, collaborating with Territory Managers to generate leads, and assisting in managing Opportunity data with precision. You'll also be instrumental in handling inbound inquiries, addressing customer service issues, and ensuring contract accuracy and compliance. With a minimum of 5 years of sales experience, knowledge of fleet, heavy agriculture, and construction equipment, as well as a keen eye for detail and exceptional problem-solving skills, you'll be an integral part of our dedicated team. The Sales Coordinator supports the Auction Management Team by providing administrative and customer support, conducting research, making calls, and documenting prospects and leads. This role ensures the needs of support departments are met, gathers and routes information, and maintains direct contact with selling customers during the inspection and removal phase to ensure their satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the Company Dashboard to effectively serve existing and prospective customers.
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers to generate leads within assigned territories using the Company Dashboard and Territory Filter.
  • Assist the Auction Management Team (AMT) in maintaining timely and accurate Opportunity data, including Activity, Status, Value, and auction placement.
  • Schedule follow-up tasks for existing opportunities, ensuring effective pipeline management.
  • Monitor and manage opportunities nearing the auction deadline, appropriately categorizing and moving assets when needed.
  • Handle inbound seller inquiries from purplewave.com, providing sales and Purple Wave-related information.
  • Monitor and address missing and pending Settlement Payment Instructions (SPIs) for accuracy.
  • Collaborate with AMT to address customer service issues, coordinate asset removal, demand requests, and handle default communication.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of all contract submissions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure effective communication and execution of promises made during the contract process.
  • Monitor and promptly address red flags in submissions, such as title delays or changes in post-auction procedures.
  • Assist Territory Managers in gathering necessary information on rejected submissions and resolving issues.
  • Provide support in training new hires on contract and listing submission processes.
  • Collaborate with lender liaisons to obtain signed lien releases and gain approval for submitted assets.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required. Associates Degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years of sales experience
  • Knowledge of fleet, heavy agriculture and construction equipment
  • Proficiency in using various software and computer applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities

Working Settings:

  • Full-time Salaried Exempt, not eligible for overtime
  • Office hours are 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, additional hours may be required depending on priorities
  • Based in the Purple Wave satellite office in Copart Towers, 14185 Dallas Pkwy #400, Dallas, TX 75254.
  • In person training will be required at the Purple Wave Headquarters in Manhattan, KS.
  • Additional travel may be required.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access various departments of a given location.

Compensation:

  • Competitive annual salary between $45,000 and $55,000, paid bi-weekly
  • Monthly Bonus Program - determined by the Company’s monthly revenue result and are paid on a “percent to plan” payout formula. (90% = $300, 100% = $600, 110% = $900, 120% = $1,200)
  • Monthly phone stipend in accordance with the Company’s cell phone policy, currently $120/month
  • Health, Dental, and Vision starting the first of the month after 60 days of employment
  • 401(k) plan with an employer match up to 4% starting the first day of employment
  • Company-paid Life Insurance benefit of $25,000 with options to add more through employee contribution starting the first of the month after 60 days of employment
  • Personal Time Off (PTO) annual amount of 120 hours which is prorated based on the number of days between the 60th day of employment and the end of the calendar year
