As a licensed recovery support services organization (RSSO), recovery community organization (RCO), and 501(c)(3) non-profit, we are committed to offering holistic and affirming care to support individuals on their journey to sobriety and wellness.

**Job Summary: **

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Peer Support Supervisor in Training. This position offers an opportunity for professional growth and development in peer support supervision, with guidance and mentorship provided by experienced supervisors. The Peer Support Supervisor in Training will assist in overseeing the delivery of peer support services, providing support and supervision to peer support specialists, and contributing to developing and implementing peer support programs.

**** This is a multi-site position. Travel and work are required between Pueblo and El Paso County, with most supervision work being done in Pueblo and training in Colorado Springs. Mileage is reimbursed. Pueblo and surrounding rural counties are highly encouraged to apply ******

**Responsibilities: **

1. **Supervision and Support: **

- Assist in providing supervision and support to peer support specialists, including regular check-ins, case consultations, and performance feedback.

- Collaborate with experienced supervisors to conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and provide guidance and mentorship to staff.

2. **Program Coordination and Oversight: **

- Assist in coordinating and overseeing the implementation of peer support programs and services, ensuring adherence to program standards, policies, and procedures.

- Participate in program planning, development, and evaluation activities, contributing insights and ideas to enhance program effectiveness and client outcomes.

3. **Training and Development: **

- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and educational opportunities to develop skills and knowledge in peer support supervision, recovery-oriented principles, and trauma-informed care.

- Support peer support specialists in obtaining and maintaining relevant certifications, licensure, and continuing education requirements, fostering professional growth and development.

4. **Quality Assurance and Compliance: **

- Assist in monitoring program activities, client outcomes, and staff performance, collecting and analyzing data to evaluate program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, best practices, and ethical standards in the delivery of peer support services.

5. **Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: **

- Cultivate positive relationships with clients, community partners, and stakeholders, representing the organization's interests and advocating for the needs of our clients.

- Collaborate with external partners to leverage resources, coordinate services, and enhance community partnerships to support program goals and objectives.

6. ** Other Duties: **

- Lead peer support individual and group sessions

- Attend Company Events for outreach and networking

-Organize outreach events

- Any other duties assigned by the Executive Director, Regional Peer Supervisor, or Program Manager

**Qualifications: **

- CPFS certification required.

- Minimum of 3 years sustained recovery in your chosen pathway

- Must honor ALL pathways to recovery

- Must understand Harm Reduction and honor it as a crucial pathway to recovery

- Must believe in the motto "You are in recovery when you say you are"

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in peer support, with a demonstrated interest in supervision and leadership.

- Must complete Coachervision training within two months of hiring date (company paid)

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse individuals.

- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, with a demonstrated understanding of and sensitivity to the needs of marginalized communities.

- Willingness to learn and grow in the role of peer support supervision, with a passion for supporting the professional development of others.

**Benefits: **

- Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Ranges from $21 to $25 an hour

**** This is a temporary grant-funded position funded by the Colorado Department of Human Services, Behavioral Health Administration, with a potential start date of June 1, 2024, with an end date of Dec 31, 2024. There may be an opportunity to be hired permanently after the end of this grant.

The results of the background check will not necessarily exclude you. Those with a Justice involved background are highly encouraged to apply.
