JUNIOR WEB DEVELOPER – (Remote First Opportunity)
Our one-of-a-kind healthcare strategy and marketing firm has an excellent opportunity for a Junior Web Developer. The Junior Web Developer responds to business requirements in developing specifications for web-based content and applications. Builds web content including websites, email campaigns, and web applications. Including evaluating and developing training materials for new technologies. Supports staff in the day-to-day use of computer systems and web applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for web content and software application designing, building, and maintenance by determining client needs through analyzing technical requirements within the prevailing or desired digital ecosystem
• Conferring with teams to resolve project challenges, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, or choose solutions
• Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems
• Editing web content, and collaborating with PNAV team members who produce content
• Maintaining an understanding of the latest web applications and programming practices through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups
• Identifying problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel for correction
• Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media to test and deploy web content
• Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types
• Back up files from web sites for recovery
• Performing website updates

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Organizational skills to help maintain software/hardware/systems records
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff
• Troubleshooting skills, good desk-side demeanor
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work on multiple project
• Ability to complete projects from start to finish within deadlines
• Must have “can do” attitude. Customer service oriented

• 2 year’s experience developing web sites and on-line applications using web development tools including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, .Net, PHP and familiarity with WordPress Administration and responsive framework programs.
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript libraries
• LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)

• Developing clean, organized, well-documented code

• Design experience in Adobe XD

• Email Automation/Flow Development (Marketo/Silverpop/Hubspot)
• Strong JavaScript ability
• Experience with Greensock JavaScript animation engine
• Full stack knowledge
• .NET in an Azure environment
• Virtualmin / Webmin
• Security-conscience
• Basic Photoshop / Illustrator / Indesign
• Some UI / UX experience a plus
