Job Summary:

Purisolve is seeking a Systems Programmer with the appropriate technical skills and experience to support our client team.

Desired:

Experience with Unisys Enterprise Dorado software (ClearPath Operating System, ECL, MASM, COBOL, IPF, etc.) and hardware Dorado 8390/8590, DELL / EMC DLm tape storage.

Minimum requirements:

• Ability to jump in and learn / work quickly with new hardware and software systems i.e., Unisys Tier 1 mainframe and corresponding Tier 2 Windows systems being supported. This includes: System control language (i.e., ECL) and operating system libraries and components.

• A desire to learn how things work and how things interoperate is crucial and required. Ability to use hands-on expertise and tools in the support of the Unisys Tier 1 operating environment. This includes ECL, MASM, COBOL, IPF, etc.

• Expertise in all the programming-related systems components needed to perform modifications to the existing infrastructure. To be able to fix existing programs, and create utilities for various purposes including assisting operations personnel, and application programmers.

• Proficient reporting skills using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint.

• Due to Government clearance, must be a U.S. Citizen or 3-year permanent resident.

Education and Experience requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree, related to computer information systems or equivalent.
• 5 years of professional, job-related experience.

Salary:

• $80,000 - $120,000
