Warehouse Associate - Part Time

Pure Wine Wisconsin is looking for a reliable part time Milwaukee Warehouse Associate to join us to help run our 5,000 sq ft, low stress warehouse. We serve the Wisconsin market with honesty and integrity and are a tight knit family wholesale team.

We are looking for a reliable individual to be an effective Part Time Warehouse Associate that assists with receiving, warehousing and distribution operations. You will report to the Warehouse Manager and assist in the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of wine and spirits products from around the world.

To ensure success you need to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and perform your duties in a manner that maximizes profits.

Responsibilities

• Strategically assist the Warehouse Manager in compliance with company’s policies and vision
• Accurately picking product, staging for loading, and loading product onto pallets.
• Repeated lifting of 30-40 pound boxes.
• Follow warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
• Assist with managing stock control and reconcile with data storage system
• Liaise with Operations Manager and transport companies
• Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided
• Hours are Monday - Thursday from 1pm to 7pm. Occasionally starting earlier when the Warehouse Manager is out.

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience in warehouse environment.
• Ability to easily lift 40lb boxes of wine and spirits repetitively
• Fork lift certified
• Math & Reading skills essential
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases (experience with Encompass a plus!)
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
