Your role will involve financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support informed decision-making and drive operational efficiency.Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and manage budgets for the distribution center, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.Financial Analysis: Conduct regular financial analysis to assess the performance of distribution operations, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions.Cost Control: Monitor distribution-related costs, analyze cost drivers, and implement cost-saving strategies to optimize the distribution process.Inventory Management: Collaborate with the distribution team to manage inventory levels effectively, minimizing carrying costs while ensuring product availability.Profitability Analysis: Analyze distribution contracts and agreements to evaluate profitability and negotiate favorable terms when necessary.Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements for distribution operations.Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles, and internal policies in all distribution-related activities.Forecasting: Develop financial forecasts and models to predict future distribution trends and assist in strategic decision-making.Team Collaboration: Work closely with the distribution team, providing financial insights and recommendations to support their operations.Auditing: Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits related to distribution finances.The ideal candidate will have:Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in distribution or logistics.Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.Experience in SAP and/or INFOR WMS.Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
