The Ambassador of Fun works under the direct supervision of Tiffany Diehl, Recreation Manager. This is an hourly position which requires working weekends and holidays, in addition to during the week.

• THINK “OUTSIDE THE BOX” to create unique weekly activities (including crafts, games, team sports, contests, etc.) for Resort guests
• Host traditional LRR activities/events (Dances, Harold’s Hayride, BYOB Trivia, Flashlight Candy Find, etc.)
• Help host public and private events aboard the Proud Mary
• Plan and implement entertainment events (Annual Pet Show, National S’mores Day, Car Show, Halloween in June, “Fall” Into Family Fun Festival, etc.)
• Actively engage guests in participating in activities and events, and participate with enthusiasm
• Communicate warmly with our guests (asking and answering questions, encouraging activity/event attendance and participation, “bragging up” the resort, etc.)
• Create and maintain an upbeat, welcoming, friendly atmosphere for our guests at all times
• Wear various costumes and portray a variety of themed personas, including wearing our Resort mascot S’moree.
• Utilize Print Shop software to create weekly activities schedules and event flyers for posting and distribution
• Order/shop for activities supplies and decor
• Organize and maintain supplies and costumes in a neat, orderly fashion (in all Activities storage areas and office space)
• CREATE MEMORABLE VACATION MEMORIES FOR OUR GUESTS THAT WILL MAKE THEM WANT TO COME BACK AGAIN AND AGAIN!!!

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift/carry 25lbs
• All staff under 18 must have a worker's permit provided by your local school district
• Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive
