Pure Cuts Lawn And Maintenance Llc in Ocala, FL is looking for one lawn and grounds maintenance crew lead position to join our 13-person strong team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and engaged.

Responsibilities

Manage and lead a team of lawn and landscape professionals, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality workmanship.

• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to crew members, providing clear instructions and guidance throughout projects.
• Perform a wide range of lawn and landscape maintenance tasks alongside the team, including mowing, trimming, edging, fertilizing, and weed control.
• Operate and maintain various landscape equipment and tools, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
• Assist in the installation of hardscapes, such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls, while supervising the team's work.
• Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and other greenery, overseeing the crew's planting activities.
• Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of job sites, including the removal of debris and waste materials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
• Collaborate with the management team to schedule jobs, allocate resources, and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Safely operate a truck with a trailer to transport equipment and materials to and from job sites.

Qualifications

• Fluency in both English and Spanish (negotiable) is required to effectively communicate with our diverse clientele.
• Proven experience in the lawn and landscaping industry, with a strong understanding of various maintenance techniques and horticultural practices.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary, as driving a truck with a trailer is a requirement of the position.
• Ability to work full time, including occasional weekends and overtime during peak seasons.
• Reliable transportation to and from the company shop
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring the highest quality of workmanship.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $17.00 - $19.00/hour.
