Pure Allergy & Asthma is looking for Part-time Medical Assistant (MA) to join our Newtown location. Our practice is looking for compassionate, dependable, professional, flexible MAs to assist us in providing the best possible patient care.
The ideal candidate will have experience evaluating patients' symptoms, conducting allergy tests, breathing tests and administering allergy shots. The role will also involve maintaining doctor's office records, making appointments, phone triage and ensuring that the medical office runs smoothly.
Note: This is a part-time position up to 30 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, organize, and communicate information to all staff.
- Work as part of a team.
- Communicate with doctors, nurses, and other medical personnel.
- Read and interpret medical records.
- Work as part of a team.
- Administer Allergy Injections
- Monitor patients for allergic reactions
- Check-In/Check-Out patients
- Room patients and obtain vitals
- Stocking/Organizing Rooms
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
