In this role you will support our Director of Business Development and sales team on a variety of projects, work on customer related requests and issues.

Responsibilities Include

  • Manage and support inbound customer request relating to sourcing products, pricing, order issues and product related questions
  • Advise clients on effective ordering, product specs and miscellaneous inquiries
  • Support client requests related to securing or tracking shipments of products
  • Book travel and tradeshow arrangements
  • Draft customer correspondence on behalf of sales team
  • Process sample requests
  • Assist with meeting preparations and new client proposals
  • Data compilation and organization utilizing Excel
  • Manage and monitor MAP pricing
  • Work with Dir. of Business Development on Salesforce data related to opportunities and reporting
  • Work with Sales and Marketing team on support materials, including directions for use, data for marketing collateral, SDS, and regulatory documents required for products
  • Maintain new customer/distributor/vendor setup forms or forms via portals
  • Provide backup support for Customer Service Support role
  • Attend and/or provide support for trade shows as needed
  • Provide support to NPD team to accelerate the development of new products
  • Support team efforts related to market research including surveying distributor partners or end users periodically for feedback on offerings and level of support
  • Assist team with sage and salesforce reporting and retention analysis
  • Support efforts related to product forecast vs usage analysis for key accounts
  • Manage customer complaint process including intake, documentation, and communication through resolution

Required Experience

  • Ability to colaborate well with a team mentality
  • 2 yrs. experience in a similar role with customer service in a B2B environment
  • Experience in manufacturing industry a plus
  • Strong planning, organization, and communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and social skills to build a good rapport with internal and external customers
  • Experience with Salesforce and Sage experience preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft office, especially Excel required
  • A solution provider – ability to problem solve and adjust to changing needs of the business

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
