Purdue University is Hiring a Student - Instructional Technology Assistant, Office of Instructional Technology Near Lafayette, IN
- Provide first level support for faculty, staff, and students through Virtual Help Desk (Zoom), phone, email, or face-to-face, to solve technical concerns related, but not limited to:
o Brightspace, Lecture Capture, Collaboration software, Web Conferencing, Active Learning Tools, Accessibility Remediation
- Ensure projects assigned by supervisor are completed in a timely manner
- Update social media with important information
- Work individually and/or in a group setting
- Utilize Microsoft tools, Google, and Adobe products
- Construct flyers/handouts
- Maintain a positive presence on campus and in the OIT during regular working hours, as well as off duty hours
- Must be a current undergraduate student at Purdue University Northwest
- Minimum student enrollment status of 6 credits hours
- Maintain a GPA of 2.5 or above
- Experience in customer service
- Experience using help desk software and remote support tools
- Experience with learning management systems (Brightspace preferred)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
