The Accounting Area at the Mitch E. Daniels, Jr. School of Business, Purdue University, invites candidates to apply for a full-time lecturer position. Lecturers teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and in multiple areas, such as management accounting, financial accounting, and tax. Although teaching is the main activity, the new hire would be expected to engage in some service activities (e.g., course development or coordination across sections).
The appointment is expected to begin July 1, 2024.
Job Qualification
Candidates must have a Masters degree in Accounting or a related field at the time of application. Candidates who are active CPAs and have accounting work experience are preferred. Candidates should provide evidence that they can successfully teach undergraduate or graduate classes. The ideal candidate would have worked a minimum of three years as a full-time instructor or faculty at a university or college that awarded degrees in accounting.
