The Department of Biological Sciences is seeking a Lab Technician. The Lab Technician is to adhere to all Purdue University Northwest and Department of Biological Sciences policies. The Lab Technician’s duties include maintaining clean and safe laboratory teaching and preparation areas and preparing teaching laboratories for laboratory activities. This includes planning, ordering and setting up supplies, and cleaning laboratory areas. The Lab Technician will maintain all laboratory equipment and supplies to standards set by Department of Biological Sciences. The Lab Technician will teach laboratories as needed and assist faculty in their research or teaching activities as time allows. The Lab Technician will assist with departmental social media and department outreach events.
