The Director of the Student Success Center provides strategic direction for student affairs including student mentorship, support services for veterinary medical and veterinary nursing students and, implementation of student-centered recognition programs, administration of external entity policy relating to student organizations and oversight of course and room scheduling and exam accommodations. The Director leads the Student Success team to provide excellent service to the college and create a positive and supportive climate.

What We’re Looking For:
Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree in academic advising or higher education administration or student support services or a related field.
• 8 years of experience in student support services or related field including supervision.
• Strong leadership, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage personnel and programs and ability to make independent decisions.
• Ability to problem-solve complicated issues.
• Ability to lead teams and create a collaborative climate.
• Ability to keep and maintain accurate records and to meet deadlines.
• Ability to use University-based databases and strong competence with MS Office software.

Preferred:

• Master’s Degree.
