Overview:
The Warehouse/Department Manager oversees inventory assets through the receipt, storage, and transfer of merchandise between our delivery carriers and three retail locations. Warehouse responsibilities include maintaining supplies, safety practices, equipment, fleet vehicles, and operating efficiencies. Will routinely be bending and lifting up to 50lbs. Physical job that will require candidate to be on their feet for most of the day.
Duties:
- Receiving orders from our vendors
- Packing orders to be shipped to our satellite locations
- Assisting with the stocking of shelves on the sales floor
- Implement and maintain efficient inventory management practices
- May be managing 1-2 part time employees seasonally.
- Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Maintaining a clean work environment
- Able to seamlessly adapt to our team first atmosphere.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Warehouse experience
- Associates Degree Preferred
- NYS Drivers License
