Purcell Marian seeks applicants for: Full-Time School CounselorCandidates must be zealous in mission, passionate for ensuring student achievement, and aspire to be dedicated members of the Purcell Marian family. Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: •Provide therapeutic service to students with IEPs, 504s, and general education students and/or collaborate with community organizations and refer students/families to organizations and services when necessary•Coordinates services provided by outside agency representatives•Manage a caseload of students who require therapy or other services•Participate in the special education evaluation process for students with social-emotional and behavioral needs as needed; write annual social-emotional or behavioral goals on student IEPs•Facilitate crisis management services for students•Support school-based social-emotional programming interventions (Tier 1, 2 and 3) and initiatives; lead individual, small group and grade-level interventions •Evaluate programmatic success of counseling department as it relates to student services; conduct reliable and valid assessments of students and families to inform the design of interventions to remove barriers to learning•Provide support with college and career readiness initiatives to increase post-secondary degree and credential persistent and attainment•Monitors and evaluates student progress: interprets standardized test scores, transcripts, assesses student credits and credit granting standards•Perform any duties assigned by Director of CounselingPlease send a cover letter and resume only to ldamico@purcellmarian.org.
