As we continue to expand, we're excited to hire a new Superintendent/Project Foreman to lead our field projects and contribute to our ongoing success.

Role Overview: As a Superintendent at Purcell Construction, you will play a pivotal role in driving our day-to-day construction operations and overseeing both private and prevailing wage projects from planning to completion ranging from $50k-$5MM. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leadership & Collaboration: Leading co-workers and cultivating relationships with subcontractors, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and reporting project progress to management team.
• Job Site Management: Manage schedule and adherence to safety, quality, and security standards on-site. Review/track material stock inventory and delivery. Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site visits to monitor the quality and work output of teams and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
• Safety & Compliance: Conduct project inspections, identify and resolve potential safety hazards, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal construction regulations and building codes.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience as a Carpenter Foreperson or Project Superintendent leading private and prevailing wage commercial construction projects preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, operate tools and equipment, and enforce proper safety practices; must own personal hand tools.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to delegate, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work on your feet in elevated positions for long periods of time.

Schedule & Salary:

• This is a full-time opportunity, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Flexibility to work off-hours, weekends, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Competitive Pay Rate: $30-$40/hr.
