In support of operational excellence, the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager provides “hands on” behavior based safety leadership and direction to the company across all Puratos USA facilities through the development and implementation of appropriate safety policies, procedures and programs. As a key change agent, this role increases safety awareness and continuously improves corporate and individual site safety performance while also optimizing productivity, efficiency and effectiveness. Leads regular safety audits, ensures accident investigation & reporting procedures are in place and followed, and maintains robust record keeping and KPI reporting processes to effectively reduce risks. This position develops and delivers detailed and specialized safety training programs for new and existing employees to embed a behavior-based safety culture including but not limited to lock out / tag out, hazard communication, emergency response programs, confined space entry, contractor control, fall protection, and evacuation procedures, WHMIS, Safe Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) and Job Safety Analysis.
