Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team. As a Driver/Helper, you will assist in the delivery and installation of appliances ranging from microwaves, washer/dryer, dishwasher, ovens, and refrigerators . There are two types of positions available, a driver and a helper. Both positions will perform the same duties with drivers having to operate the box truck. Driver pay is $150 a week more. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and providing exceptional customer service.
This is a subcontractor position and will be employed on a 1099 receiving untaxed weekly pay.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the driver in loading and unloading goods onto the vehicle
- Secure cargo to prevent damage during transportation
- Follow delivery instructions and ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle
Skills:
- Experience in driving a large box truck is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet delivery deadlines
- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
