Pummarola is an authentic Neapolitan Pizzeria with locations across Florida and Spain. Our pizza is baked to perfection in our wood-fired ovens, built and imported from Naples, Italy to achieve the authentic, fire-kissed flavor of home. Many of our ingredients are also imported from Italy, from the savory, San Marzano tomatoes in our marinara sauce, to the Polselli flour in our dough. We're not just a Pizzeria. We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible individual to join our team as a Pizza Maker. Pizza Makers are responsible for aiding the Lead Pizzaiolo in the production of authentic, Neapolitan cuisine. You will assist in making the dough, assembling pizzas and panuozzos (paninis) by stretching the dough and adding toppings, use the wood-fired oven, and ensuring that all ingredients, such as prosciutto di parma, are sliced and ready to be used. You will collaborate with other team members to maintain fully stocked and readied ingredients for menu items. Responsibilities

• Aid in the preparation of dough by properly measuring ingredients and portioning the resulting batch for each pizza
• Stretch and slice dough to create a base for pizzas and panuozzos
• Add sauce and toppings according to customer requests
• Carefully asses tickets to ensure menu items are prepared properly (e.g. "tomato allergy" on the ticket = do not add tomato sauce)
• Check the refrigerators to make sure that all ingredients are fully stocked
• Maintain cleanliness of the Pizzeria (e.g. sweeping the floor)

Skills

• Previous experience as a Pizza Maker is preferred but not required
• Bilingual (Spanish or Italian) is a huge plus
• Respectful of food safety rules
• Multi-tasking and communication
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma preferred

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
