Role description

We are seeking a highly creative and skilled E-Learning Multimedia Designer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing engaging and effective e-learning materials that facilitate learning and knowledge retention. You will collaborate closely with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and other team members to create visually stunning and interactive e-learning content.


Role responsibilities

  • Multimedia Content Creation: Design and develop multimedia elements for e-learning courses, including graphics, animations, videos, interactive simulations, SCORM files, etc.
  • Visual Storytelling: Transform complex concepts and information into visually appealing and easily digestible content that enhances the learning experience.
  • Interactive Design: Create interactive learning modules, quizzes, and assessments to increase learner engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Media Editing: Edit and enhance existing multimedia assets, including audio and video recordings, to ensure high-quality e-learning materials.
  • Collaborative Development: Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to understand learning objectives and translate them into the design.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure that all multimedia content aligns with our brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity.
  • Technology Integration: Stay up-to-date with e-learning authoring tools and multimedia software to leverage the latest technologies and trends in e-learning design.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and quality checks to ensure that multimedia elements function correctly within e-learning courses.
  • Project Management: Manage multimedia design projects, meet deadlines, and communicate progress effectively with the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in multimedia development for e-learning, specifically developing in authoring tools (Storyline and Rise), with a strong understanding of the tool capabilities, limitations, and the ability to find creative solutions when developing.
  • Knowledge of SCORM and other e-learning standards.
  • Proficiency in multimedia software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and e-learning authoring tools.
  • Excellent visual design skills with an eye for detail and creativity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain design concepts to non-design stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with 3D modeling and animation.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS).
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for interactive e-learning design.
