Pulse Clinical Alliance is hiring a Mental Health Clinician in Burlington, VT.

Job Details:

Temp to Perm: 13 weeks to full time
Pay Rate: $26-27/hr (depending if you hold a license)
Shift: Days - 37.5 - 40 hours/week depending on position
Experience: 2-3 years of relevant professional work experience

Job Description:

Clinicians provides screening, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, care coordination and discharge planning with individuals, families and groups to increase support and overall wellbeing, improve functioning, and decrease symptomology. This role develops, implements and coordinates treatment plans as part of a multidisciplinary team. Services may be program-based, provided via telehealth, co-located with another agency and/or in the field including home-visiting. The Clinician provides clinical guidance, support and recommendations to the individual, client's team and or family.

Requirements:

Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or mental health field
Must be licensed, or license eligible in the state of Vermont
Valid driver's license and use of a personal vehicle
Rostering required for pre-licensure status
Fingerprints may be required based on program requirements
Ability to work after hours, holidays, and overnight shifts, flexibility in willingness to cover urgent/emergency coverage shifts and callouts

Responsibilities:

Directs clinical services to assigned population/caseload using established best practices and modality determined by program
May provide individual and/or group interventions to facilitate success in meeting therapeutic goals
Facilitates and/or provides crisis intervention, risk management, safety planning, treatment planning, and needed follow-up care
Coordinates care and recommends additional services with other professionals or community partners for clients to meet their service needs
Completes clinical documentation in Electronic Health Record and other documentation/record keeping in accordance with Agency requirements
Provides discharge planning including termination plan, care coordination, resource and referral information

Licensing Requirement Notice:

Vermont regulation mandates that if you do not hold a valid license then you must be on the Roster of Nonlicensed & Noncertified Psychotherapists before you can be hired for work in this position. If you are not yet on the Roster, please begin the process immediately to avoid delay in hiring. Note this process may take 3-5 days for in-state applications and up to several weeks for out-of-state applications. Instructions can be found on the website for the Vermont Office of Professional Regulation.
