Pulse Clinical Alliance is Hiring a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse - Float MS RN Near Cleveland, OH
Job Details:
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Pay Rate: $56/hr for locals, $2,190/week for travelers
- Shift: Nights - 36hrs/week - 7 pm-7:30 am
- Experience: At least 18 months of Med/Surg experience AND 18 months of Perm experience in a Float position
- OH RN License or compact
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- NIHSS
Medical-surgical nurses are registered nurses who provide care for primarily adult patients before and after surgical procedures. They coordinate healthcare plans with medical professionals, administer medications, and educate patients on surgical procedures.
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.
- Evaluating medical information, as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients.
- Preparing, administering and recording prescribed medications.
- Changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs.
- Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed, as well as interpreting and recording measurements.
