Pulse Clinical Alliance is Hiring a Contract - Occupational Therapist Near Waco, TX
Job Details:
- Contract: 13-Weeks (32-35 hours guaranteed)
- Shift: Monday-Friday; no weekends
- Pay Rate: $40/hour
- Notes: Will float between facilities in Waco, TX and Woodway, TX, paid your hourly rate for drive time
- MUST LIVE 50 MILES FROM Waco/Woodway
You will be working with patients who are recovering from injuries and disabilities and helping them regain their abilities so that they can resume work. Duties will include conducting a physical assessment of clients, developing treatment plans, assessing the work and home environments of clients, and developing physical rehabilitation programs.
- Conducting physical and psychological assessments of clients and developing or following a treatment plan.
- Assessing home and work environments of clients and deciding what adjustments are needed.
- Advising on adaptive equipment to help clients with daily activities.
- Developing physical rehabilitation programs to help clients regain lost skills.
- Preparing clients for a return to work.
Requirements:
- In order to be considered for this position you must be a graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapy or will graduate from within the next six (6) months. You must hold a valid National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification and you must currently hold or be eligible for a valid state license (where appropriate) as an Occupational Therapist.
