Job Description:$1,500 SIGN ON BONUS - Maintain a stable environment for adults with mental health and/or substance use challenges. This is a full-time position that works at Assist, a hospital diversion program that supports adults having a mental health crisis. This is a unique opportunity to gain a broad level of experience in the fields of substance use and mental health.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and use of a personal vehicle
• Experience with utilization review and discharge planning
• Ability to work after hours, holidays, and overnight shifts, flexibility in willingness to cover urgent/emergency coverage shifts and callouts

Responsibilities:

• Provide supportive counseling, medication management, and crisis intervention
• Help residents strengthen coping and symptom management skills
• Maintain the overall functioning and cleanliness of the programs
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals
• Provide short-term case management and referrals to appropriate levels of care
• Facilitate groups
• Administer medication
