Position Overview:
As a Phone Operator/Scheduler, you will serve as the first point of contact for our patients, providing outstanding customer service and ensuring efficient scheduling of appointments. You will play a vital role in maintaining smooth operations within our medical office, contributing to the overall patient experience and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally, answering incoming calls promptly and courteously.
• Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently using our electronic scheduling system.
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding appointment availability, services offered, and general office policies.
• Update patient demographic and insurance information accurately in the electronic medical records system.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely and appropriate scheduling of patient appointments.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in medical office administration is a plus.
• Previous experience in a medical office setting or customer service role preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Bilingual Spanish Speaker
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision

Pay: $20.21 - $21.30 per hour
