Job Goal: To implement an approved educational program and establish a classroom environment that is consistent with our District Philosophy, fosters integrated learning, thinking, cooperation, and personal and social growth. Qualifications:
A current teaching license
Knowledge of effective teaching methods and developmentally appropriate classroom activities
The ability to maintain a positive learning environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Current First Aid/CPR certified or must obtain
Demonstrated ability to:
work collaboratively
carry out emergency/crisis response procedures
perform all computer technology tasks associated with the position
maintain confidentiality
communicate positively/effectively with students, parents, staff, patrons
Commitment to the Pulaski Board of Education Educational Philosophy
Demonstrated skills in positive human relations and cultural competence
Demonstrated skills in problem solving and conflict management
