**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Optician Technichian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting appropriate eyewear and ensuring accurate fittings.

**Duties:**

- Assist customers in selecting frames that complement their features and prescription

- Take accurate measurements to ensure proper fit of eyeglasses and contact lenses

- Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and materials

- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed

- Maintain inventory of frames, lenses, and contact lenses

- Process orders and perform administrative tasks related to eyewear sales

-Cut and fit lenses into patient frames

**Requirements:**

- Knowledge of optical equipment and tools

- Familiarity with anatomy, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality

- Experience in retail management or customer service is a plus

- Proficiency in medical billing software such as Epic is advantageous

- Background in ophthalmology or optical sciences is preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
