Puffy Pandy is looking for Front-of-House (FoH) employees to join our team! FoHs will be responsible for preparing dessert products for our storefront, catering events, and more. Duties are not limited to quality control, packaging, preparing pastries and drinks. FoH will be preparing a wide range of drinks and use friendly service to tend to the needs of our customers. They will learn all recipes and methods to make our one-of-a-kind desserts. • Location: White Center
• Shift: Currently offering full and part time positions
• Day range: Wednesdays to Sundays, shifts vary between 10am-8:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Be able to quickly learn new recipes and take orders with minimal supervision
• Properly follow instructions in order to have consistency in flavor, texture, and size
• Communicate with team of items that need to be ordered
• Keep FoH well stocked of ingredients and containers
• Keep daily production records, noting leftovers, ingredient consistency, production date, and quality of ingredients used
• Provide support in bridging communication between front-of-house and back-of-house employees as needed, especially during busy events
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the day. This includes, but is not limited to, washing dishes, wiping down countertops, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash/recycle/food compost containers, and keeping all equipment clean
• Be able to do basic math
• Be able to stand for long period of time and work in a fast paced environment
• Be able to lift 50 lbs

Requirements:

• Food handler’s permit

Preferred:

• Food industry experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
