Publix is Hiring a Compliance Project Manager – Informatics, HIPPA, Consumer Data Protect Near Lakeland, FL

The purpose of this position is to support Corporate Compliance’s leg of the GRC (Governance, Enterprise Risk Management, and Compliance) Framework for the Informatics Compliance Program for Publix Super Markets, Inc. The Project Manager will oversee corporate initiatives related to informatics including HIPPA and consumer data protection.

Responsible for developing, leading, facilitating, and maintaining multiple strategic and critical legal, regulatory, and compliance teams.
Responsible for providing strategic and operational reporting on assigned compliance programs to various levels of management, including executive leadership.
Responsible for ensuring assigned compliance programs align with Corporate Compliance and Informatics Program (CCEP) framework.
Responsible for managing, monitoring, and auditing assigned compliance program elements for consistency of operational execution.
Responsible for executing assigned compliance program processes such as training completion monitoring.
Responsible for investigating reports of non-compliance and working with management to correct and mitigate any non-compliant activities.
Responsible for evaluating assigned compliance content in education and training programs, and leading positive and proactive change management efforts through development/ redevelopment of such programs as needed.
Responsible for providing and maintaining expertise and knowledge in the assigned compliance fields and keeping well-informed of industry best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in an analytical discipline (e.g., business management, project management, legal studies) or equivalent work experience in an analytical discipline.
At least four (4) years of experience independently managing projects.
At least four (4) years of experience working with legal or regulatory processes or equivalent experience.
At least five (5) years of experience developing process documentation and/or analyzing business processes or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated experience of project management techniques, strategic planning, and continuous quality improvement methodology.
Intermediate level skills of Microsoft 365 apps (e.g., Excel, OneDrive, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word).
Willingness to travel.
