Overview:

We are seeking a Banquet Set-up professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be reliable, dependable & hardworking. This position will assist in preparing banquet facilities before and after events, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests.

Duties:

- Set up banquet rooms indoor & outdoor according to event orders and diagrams - Arrange tables, chairs, and linens as per event requirements - Set up ceremony sites indoor & outdoors according to requirements
- Assist with food & beverage service setup, buffet stations, coffee stations & bar areas
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas during events
- Support post-event cleanup and breakdown of banquet spaces

Requirements:

- Previous experience in the food industry or banquet setting is preferred but not required
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and assist where needed
- Experience in hotel banquet operations is advantageous - Friday, Saturday & Sunday availability - The ability to read & interpret event order - Basic English language communication skills - The ability to carry large, heavy trays & crates on a continuous basis throughout the shift; rolling tables & chairs to event space, ability to lift up to 50 pounds - Able to stand for long periods of time - Must demonstrate a guest oriented & friendly demeanor.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
