Public Label is Hiring a National Field & Special Events Director – Moet Hennessy Near New York, NY

Overview

As the National Field & Special Events Director at Public Label, you will play a pivotal role in driving the expansion of our clients' luxury brand portfolio. Your responsibilities will encompass the creation and implementation of experiential sampling events aimed at bolstering unit growth and strengthening brand equity. These events will transcend conventional national sampling initiatives, breathing life into the brand during exceptional, high-profile occasions in collaboration with esteemed partners such as professional major-league sports, celebrities, and high-profile events, etc.

This influential position will be located in vibrant New York City.

Responsibilities

  • Secure, develop and produce special events for Moet Hennessy brands that accelerate unit sales and build brands.
  • Oversee all elements of the event execution ensuring delivery excellence and all expectations of the brand are being met.
  • Establish deep and effective relationships with key Moet Hennessy leadership and immediately foster a deep level of trust.
  • Effectively manage communication between commercial and channel managers ensuring full transparency of event details.
  • Manage event evaluation and development.
  • Manage external relationship with vendors and suppliers
  • Provide thorough program recaps in a timely manner.
  • Monthly and annual reporting: Financial tracking and KPI reporting.
  • Provide recommendations for how to continually improve the impact of special events.
  • Demonstrate confidence and partnership with clients, IAT partners, and internal stake holders (creative, strategy, etc.) that always exceeds client expectations and continually raises the bar.

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding and experience in the alcohol/spirits category.
  • 8 years’ experience in the development of experiential and special event marketing.
  • 3 years’ experience in managing teams.
  • Proven track record in building best in class client relationships and organically growing the agency’s business with clients.
  • Demonstrated understanding of how to build effective experiential marketing sampling programs with deep experience in alcohol/spirits category.
  • Deep understanding on how to win in both the on and off prem environments with experiential sampling.
  • High attention to detail and an adventurous heart for building client’s brands and the brand of Public Label.
  • Have a confident, concise, and compelling presentation style.
  • Value teamwork and respect the contributions of all team members.
  • Ability to keep composure in high stress situations.
  • Ability to travel.

Reporting and Location

  • This position will report directly to the VP of Accounts and is located in New York City.
