PUBLIC HEALTH MANAGEMENT is Hiring a Program Coordinator - Anti-Violence Community Partnership Grant Near Philadelphia, PA

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Program Coordinator for the Antiviolence Community Partnership Grant Program (AVCPG Program) will report to the Program Manager of AVCPG and will assist with coordinating the development of systems to execute the program. The Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of the program, supporting the AVCPG Manager and Director with compliance of grantees, coordinating key internal and external stakeholders, and supporting reporting and documentation per funder guidelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Program Coordination:

  • Utilize project management software, such as MS Teams, Smartsheet, and Salesforce, to assess and coordinate workplan activities, ensuring they meet targeted timelines.
  • Support AVCPG Manager and Director with completing daily tasks and maintaining program operations.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, including arranging venues, sending invitations, and preparing materials.
  • Maintain organized records, files, and documentation related to program activities.
  • Input and manage data in various tracking mechanisms and software systems, such as Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist in data collection and reporting efforts to track program progress and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the program manager to clean up and maintain data integrity in tracking mechanisms.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, distribute materials, and document meeting minutes and key takeaways.
  • Follow up on action items and deadlines resulting from meetings.
  • Assist the Program Manager in day-to-day program activities, helping ensure projects are on track and deadlines are met.
  • Track project process and outcome evaluation metrics in consultation with SME as needed.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

  • Develop PHMC public health programming that considers the impact of institutional racism on health and wellness.
  • Encourage diversity and equity in hiring policies and contracting when developing public health program plans.
  • Contribute to the development of metrics and collection of data to help PHMC public health programs measure the impact of its DEI policies and procedures.
  • Participate in required trainings and events to help PHMC public health programs create an anti-racist, inclusive workspace for staff.

LOCATION: This position is office-based and located in Center City Philadelphia.

HOURS: Monday through Friday, 8:30 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Two years of experience in public health, project coordination, program administration, or a related area required
