Summary: HIP Operator / Control Room Operator will operate the equipment in the Control Room, including starting the units, monitoring the units, and sampling the gas used during the cycles and filling out the paperwork that goes to the end customer. Must be available to train on the 1st shift but work a 2nd or 3rd shift. (Must be able to work weekend and/or OT if need be). No exceptions.

Qualifications:

• Efficiently and carefully building and boxing of the cycle including but not limited to; loading/unloading customer parts onto, into or out of the units, baskets, tubs, racks, or other containers as required.
• Independently operates, controls and monitors unit equipment as required and will write in standard procedures.
• Confirm that all shop traveler “customer paperwork” is accompanied with product/parts as it progresses through the process.
• Operate the equipment in the Control Room and create/correct Load Diagrams.
• Updating Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Database (data entry).
• Conduct gas analysis, using the proper compressor usage also, when to save reclaimed gas and where to save it too.
• Know how to gage temperature and pressures to run cycles for optimal temperatures/pressures with the allowed deltas.
• · Determine which thermocouples to disregard and where to place thermocouples for optimal temperature readings.
• What temperature to start venting cycles and how large of a can/ring to use for loading parts.
• Follow the established work procedures and control measures (including the use of PPE where issued) and any applicable SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) rules.
• Respect all guards, barriers and permits. Co-operate in health screening and surveillance procedures as required.
• Immediately brings any unusual problem, irregularity, or concern to Supervisor or management.
• · Ability to operate a forklift and crane.
• · This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
• Must have the ability to report to work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand, and follow rules and procedures.
• Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
• Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.

Physical & Mental Demands:

• Education – High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience with heat treatment operation and/or drinking / wastewater management.
• Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions.
• Must be able to work overtime, 2nd, or 3rd shift, including weekends as needed.
• Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time in an industrial environment.
• Ability to bend, pull, stoop, reach and lift up to 50 lbs.
• May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
• Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.

Hourly Pay: $20.00 - $25.00/hr. ( ) $2.00 dollar shift differential for 2nd/3rd shift. ITAR Compliance: US Citizen and/or Permanent Resident Card Holder. Screenings: Must take and pass a Drug and Background check before employment.
