Currently hiring professional Armed Security Officers in Northeast Ohio (Cleveland Area)

****Starting Pay: $15.50/hour****
****Must have a valid OPOTC Security Guard Certification with Firearm Bearer (FAB) designation [20 - Hour] (Not Expired)****

This pay rate increases as you advance in the company.

Hours: Must have open availability for full-time positions. Majority of the work will be performed overnight and will include weekends. Part-time work can be considered, but full-time positions receive priority.

About PSI:

Our company maintains a Class A License and provides a wide-spectrum of security functions including: professional vehicle patrols, alarm response, armed & unarmed officer assignments, executive-protection details.

This company primarily secures residential areas such as luxury, market rate, and low-income apartment complexes.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• OPOTA Peace Officer Certification is highly preferred
• Current OPOTA or OPOTC Security Guard Certification with Firearm Bearer (FAB) designation [20 - Hour]
• Must pass an employment background check with a favorable employment history
• Must pass a pre-employment criminal and traffic background check
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
• Must have the physical capabilities to perform all job functions
• Must be able to meet insurance standards for use of company's patrol vehicles
• No criminal convictions on your record
• No dishonorable discharge from any military branch of service
• Demonstrate strong communication skills
• Demonstrate effective time-management skills
• Knowledge of or ability to learn security operations and procedures
• Ability to maintain professional composure, especially when dealing with challenging circumstances
• Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports
• Ability to learn and utilize the latest technology in accordance with job responsibilities

Experience (one of the following must apply):

• Former Police or Corrections Officers in good standing with their respective department
• Police or Corrections Officers
• Current or former military personnel
• OPOTA Private Security Training Academy (120 hour and above)
• OPOTC 20-Hour Firearms Certification with 1 year of experience as a private security officer.
• Bachelor's degree in a security-related field from an accredited university

Military and law enforcement experience is highly preferred
