Summary/Objective:
Under general supervision, the Spray Painter performs specialized painting on medium to large plastic injection molded products; performs inspections, clean ups, storage, and disposal of paint products; and operates various tools and equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Spray paint plastic parts in a controlled environment.
- Mix paints and cure accelerators.
- Utilize cleaning solutions to prepare surfaces.
- Clean spray equipment and maintain paint booth.
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education and experience required for the role.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 2 years’ related work experience a plus.
- Fundamental knowledge of concepts in spray-paint procedures.
- Industrial or automotive spray-painting experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to details, able to multi-task.
