Director will oversee all day to day duties of the hospital clinical laboratories, neurology laboratory and administrative oversight of respiratory care department and leads the department in achieving departmental-and hospital-wide goals. This Director will have a team of about 30 FTE's, with 2 Supervisors and 4 Coordinators, reports to the Chief Clinical Officer.
Bachelor's Degree in medical technology/clinical laboratory science, Master’s a plus.
Qualified as CLIA technical supervisor and/or technical consultant.
5 years as a Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist, with 2 years management/supervisory experience.
Certification as MT, CLS from American Society of Clinical Pathologist required.
Basic Life Support certification required.
