Key Responsibilities:

· Understand and execute basic operations related to lighting controls, including Daylight Harvesting and Occupancy vs. Vacancy controls.

· Demonstrate a diligent work ethic and attention to detail in all tasks.

· Effectively communicate with team members and clients both verbally and in writing.

· Utilize organizational and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues efficiently.

· Collaborate with teams and independently make sound decisions to ensure project success.

· Represent SLS professionally with a positive, customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications:

· Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Teams.

· Willingness to learn new products, techniques, and approaches for different manufacturers.

· Experience in a commercial construction environment preferred.

· Background in small electronics and low voltage (DC) power.

· Ability to operate hand tools and test equipment (e.g., RJ45 Crimper, Cable tester, Digital multimeter).

· Comfortable working at various heights and making color-coded wire terminations.

· Proficient in deciphering building plans & schematics.

· Adaptable to shifting priorities and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

· Skilled in customer service and providing product training to small groups.

· Capable of lifting and carrying equipment and materials up to 50lbs.

· Willingness to consistently wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

· Hold a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

· Able to pass a background check and travel out of town for multiple days.
