Your Role
We are hiring an experienced Procurement Specialist. This role will play a critical role in planning, tracking, and managing purchase orders, and work closely with vendors and suppliers. 
  • Manage supplier and vendor relations, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to determine and forecast supply requirements. Support onboarding of new vendors. 
  • Support overall procurement strategies and initiatives. Assist in driving continuous improvement initiatives to streamline procurement processes and enhance performance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies governing procurement activities.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting related to procurement activities. This includes master data information, purchase orders, inventory reports, key performance indicators, etc. 
  • Proactively plan for and execute purchase orders, monitoring open orders and reports, and ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies. 
  • Optimize inventory levels and supply chain efficiency to minimize costs and maximize productivity.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline. 
  • 3-5 years of procurement and purchasing experience. 
  • cGMP and or pharmaceutical industry experience. 
  • Proven success in vendor and supplier relations and management. 
  • Strong understanding of procurement and purchasing best practices and principles.
  • Experience using ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with relevant documentation including purchase orders, cycle counts reporting, inventory, etc. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with vendors and suppliers and cross-functional departments.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent time-management. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
