Pryon is seeking an experienced and talented Head of Product who has a track record of bringing new features and methods to market from initial launch to market leader. The ideal candidate will be able to think creatively about how to apply AI and ML techniques to the traditional knowledge management segment. In this role, you will oversee the product definition, positioning, pricing, and lifecycle management of existing and new products. This position will be responsible for determining Pryon’s offerings and driving the development, launch, and adoption of products to positively impact the customer experience and gain market share. The role is responsible for leading the development and execution of the delivery of the product roadmap for Pryon.
This is an opportunity to lead our product managers, set course and direction, and learn from our team of folks who have decades of experience in AI/ML and have delivered some of the most popular products on the market today. Candidates must possess strong technical knowledge and engineering experience in knowledge or document management markets along with AI and ML principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have proven abilities to work jointly with AI engineers, data scientists, and development teams to build the next generation of AI-first knowledge management systems, document processing workflows, and question/answer chatbot applications. A strong work ethic, agility, and the ability to work in an Agile environment are essential.
\nIn This Role, You Will:
- Lead the overall product strategy and roadmap, aligning with the company's vision and goals
- Foster a culture of configuration-focused product development, prioritizing scalability and adaptability
- Drive product innovation and differentiation by leveraging technical expertise in AI and ML
- Contribute to fundraising efforts, investor relations, and the overall growth strategy of the company
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and marketing, to ensure cohesive execution of the product vision
- Manage and mentor a high-performing product team, fostering professional growth and collaboration
- Work with executive leadership to define and communicate the product vision external stakeholders
- 15 years of leadership experience with focus on engineering and product leadership
- 5 years of experience of working AI domain
- Proven experience leading product teams in startups, ideally from series B funding to IPO stage
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in AI and ML, enabling you to make informed technical decisions.
- Track record of driving successful product launches and achieving growth milestones
- Demonstrated ability to balance customization needs with configuration-focused product development
- Exceptional strategic thinking and decision-making skills, with a data-driven and customer-centric approach
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams
- Entrepreneurial spirit, adaptability, and a willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
