What you will do

The ideal candidate for this role will be a multi-talented individual capable of contributing to content strategy and campaigns through the development and creation of images, charts, graphs, videos, audio, etc. As a crucial team member, you will actively engage in elevating our work, setting high standards for both marketing best practices and visual design. This role entails creating engaging content across mediums and requires some copywriting ability. Candidates must possess proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and be able to read and manipulate large datasets. Candidates should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and have a problem-solving approach to their work. The ability to handle multiple, changing priorities and work efficiently under short deadlines is essential.

This position is hybrid and will require working in our Newark, NJ office 2-3 days per week.

What you can expect

  • Create visually compelling marketing content across stages of development (strategy, research/development, design, distribution) for day-to-day marketing needs as well as specialized campaigns, that resonates with an institutional investor base.

  • Actively participate in brainstorming and partner with other internal teams to deliver on marketing’s strategic objectives and tactics on a timely basis. Provide design and light copywriting support in alignment with PGIM Fixed Income’s brand standards. Ensure work is visually appealing and professional, using knowledge of design principals and software.

  • Assist in upkeeping the Firm’s website using platforms such as Drupal and CEROS.

  • Assist in the production of support material, including social media posts, emails, advertisements, event collateral, etc. to help promote Marketing content and initiatives.

  • Submit projects for compliance and legal review and uphold typical image licensing/copywriting/ADA rules as necessary.

What you will bring

  • To be considered for this position, candidates must provide a link to work samples that demonstrate proficiencies and skills in visual design, including evidence of work on developing data-driven infographics and content layout.

  • BA/BS degree; pursuit of an MBA a plus.

  • 2-5 years graphic design / content marketing experience.

  • Asset management or financial services experience – particularly fixed income – preferred.

  • Strong design and typography skills.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat Pro/DC. Audition, After Effects, and Premiere Pro highly beneficial to the success of the role.

  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Proficiency in reading/manipulating large datasets in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

  • A high degree of professionalism and work ethic. Strong organization, time-management, critical thinking skills.

  • Capable of maintaining the highest quality standards in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Self-motivated and able to work independently and within a team.

  • Knowledge of Seismic and Drupal CMSs, CEROS, On24, Socialive, Camtasia, or Appspace a plus.

Note: Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $85,000 to $105,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
