Proxemics Consulting is currently seeking a versatile and motivated individual to join our team as a Retail Assistant/Warehouse Operative. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for supporting both retail operations and warehouse functions to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide product information and assistance with purchasing decisions
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems
- Maintain a clean and organized retail environment
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as needed
- Support sales staff with additional tasks as required
- Receive and unload incoming shipments of merchandise
- Inspect and verify the accuracy of received goods against purchase orders
- Stock shelves and maintain organized inventory storage areas
- Pick and pack customer orders for shipping
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in retail or warehouse operations preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $22.56 - $24.69 per hour
